National Managing Director of Jury Consulting

Mark is currently the National Managing Director of Jury Consulting at Magna Legal Services. Mark oversees and manages the Jury Consulting Group at Magna. He is responsible for several strategic initiatives including the growth of the Magna Jury Consultant and CogentEdge product lines. Mark brings with him a wealth of experience in big case and law firm management, having spent nearly a decade building CogentEdge before its acquisition by Magna. He has played a pivotal role in CogentEdge’s growth and its successful integration into Magna.

Mark has over 32 years of litigation and courtroom experience. He has tried over 50 jury trials and handled hundreds of evidentiary hearings in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration with the National Association of Securities Dealers, the American Arbitration Association and JAMS. Even in his current role, Mark continues to prepare witnesses for deposition and trial, with a focus on empowering professionals with the skills and confidence needed to take command of their own testimony and ultimately drive the case to a successful result. He understands that even the most sophisticated professionals who get sued have difficulty speaking their truth because of fear, anxiety or a misunderstanding of the litigation process. Mark has attained an AV^® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and he was a Florida Super Lawyer in the practice area of Professional Liability from 2013 to 2021. Mark graduated from Emory University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia and Oregon. Mark and his family live in Bend, Oregon.
