Unlike other witness preparation service providers, CogentEdge utilizes attorneys who establish an attorney-client relationship with the client.  Accordingly, the witness preparation sessions conducted by CogentEdge’s consulting attorneys are protected and confidential as attorney-client privileged communications.  CogentEdge also implements measures to limit the access to client documents to only our consulting attorneys in order to avoid any actual or potential conflicts in the attorney-client relationship.

CogentEdge is a paperless, environmentally sensitive company that takes reasonable measures to protect client information from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access and disclosure.  All documents provided to CogentEdge by the client are uploaded to an encrypted and fully HIPAA and HITECH compliant cloud service.  CogentEdge has also executed a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with the cloud service, demonstrating our investment and dedication to client privacy and security.
